Green Party Leader dismayed that comments were distorted

I’ve had mixed feelings about publishing the previous post , but I think that this is an indication of how the other parties view Elizabeth May and the Green Party: a serious threat.
Much like her comments regarding abortion, her agreement with Stephane Dion on climate change and electoral reform, opponents from across the political spectrum are jumping on any opportunity to tarnish Elizabeth’s reputation.
Having been in the political ring myself a few times, I know the dangers and strengths inherent with ’speaking the truth’, instead of speaking from prepared notes. On a couple of occasions, you will say something inaccurate, foolish, or in May’s case, something that can be blown totally out of proportion.
