Frank De Jong is the Leader of the Green Party of Ontario and, more recently, a plaintiff in a court case against the Attorney General of Ontario. He wants to get back the money retained by Elections Ontario, an act deemed unconstitutional by the Federal Court of Ontario last year.
That money will come in handy for an upcoming election on October 10, where not only will they be running a full slate of candidates, they will be promoting electoral reform to a mixed member proportional representation system.
