Tories launch fifth negative ad campaign targeting Stephane Dion
OTTAWA - Its coffers bursting with cash, the Conservative Party of Canada is rolling out its fifth volley of TV ads targeting Liberal Leader Stephane Dion.
New Elections Canada figures indicate the Tories have been out-fundraising the Liberals by millions of dollars at a nearly four-to-one margin - and they’re putting that money to use.
They plan to pummel Dion with their latest ads during sporting events and other TV shows that are especially popular with people who do not follow politics.\
