Czech Green party opposes US anti-missile radar
The Czech government’s Green Party leaders have urged its lawmakers to oppose the installation of a US anti-missile radar in the country.
Washington wants to install a missile shield consisting of 10 silos on Polish soil and a high-power tracking radar in the neighboring Czech Republic by 2012, insisting the project is designed only to ward off attacks by so-called “rogue” states.
The call for the junior party’s lawmakers to firmly oppose the radar only emphasizes just how hard it will be for Prime Minster Mirek Topolanek to win enough support in parliament to approve the radar deal within days of the main agreement with the US being concluded at the NATO summit in Bucharest.
The Green Party’s standpoint could prove crucial in a future vote on the radar with the left-wing opposition parties, the Social Democrats and Communists already protesting the deal to site a US base in the country.

This is hilarious.
It’s hilarious because it’s off the Iranian state press agency.
Oh, man, the Czech Greens…grasping for any coverage of their positions must be hard.
And here we are, in Canada, reading it. It’s really just all entertainment, isn’t it?
cheers and keep on stonin’ them adulterers,

I was hoping someone would notice. This is an example of a story one should not take as credible. There are no sources or named attached to the story and could easily be a fabrication.
